Membership

The Guild of Boston Artists currently offers several levels of membership:

Artist Membership – Available to artists working in a form of contemporary realism and living in New England.   Regular members are exhibited year around except during historical exhibits and retrospectives.  Members have opportunities for one or two person exhibits, may be included in Guild promotional material and are featured on the Guild website. Due to by-laws and space restrictions applications are not currently being accepted. However,  an artist may submit a CD or slides at any time to be kept on file in the event space becomes available.

Associate Membership** -  Available to professional artists working in a form of contemporary realism. Provides opportunities to receive a 20% discount for Guild classes workshops, and critiques, and invitations to private events and special previews at the Guild. Associate members are also able to submit work for juried exhibitions and will be exempt from the submission fees of selected juried exhibitions. Annual fee of $100.

Student Membership** –Available for full time students.  Provides opportunities to receive a 20% discount for Guild classes workshops, and critiques, and invitations to private events and special previews at the Guild.  Student members are also able to submit work for juried exhibitions and will be exempt from the submission fees of selected juried exhibitions. Annual fee of $35.

Patron Membership** - Patrons are an invaluable source of support to the Guild and allow us to accomplish both our everyday and long term goals.  As a thank you for patronage, the Guild offers invitations to private viewings, receptions and special events, a 20% discount on Guild classes, workshops and critiques, and a public thank you in the Guild annual newsletter.  Annual gift of  $100 or more.

There is no deadline and applicants may apply at any time.  Membership begins with first payment of dues.
